Mt Buller can be very cold…. and the iconic Kooroora Hotel has always been regarded as the mountain’s favorites watering hole. Nestled in the heart of the village square, fun pub-grub is on offer throughout the day, along with great drinks and a relaxed atmosphere for young and old.

A major redevelopment will include retail spaces, a new pub and car parking in ready for winter 2019, to be followed by prestige apartments on the upper levels for winter 2020., This bold $40m development is generating plenty of excitement in the Mt Buller community.

The heating system obviously needs some specific attention when the ambient temperatures are sub zero, there is snow everywhere and there is still a fresh air requirement.

The Armcor energy recovery units are the solution. The units are coupled with pre heat hot water coils, chilled water cooling coils and a full economy cycle damper bank, with the minimum fresh air levels controlled by a CO2 sensor.

The new Kooroora Hotel will be all set to provide year round comfort.
