Hyatt Centric Melbourne is yet another addition to the Hyatt Centric hotel series with developments already launched in Hobart and Tokyo in recent times.

The state-of-the-art hotel at the corner of Downie Street and Flinders Lane comprises 278 suites over 25 levels on an 1140 square metre site footprint.

Guest features include spacious function rooms on level 5 and level 6, a gym, lap pool and rooftop bar and a restaurant with sweeping views across Melbourne.

With such a variety of first-class experience areas, conditioning these with an energy-efficient solution led the contractor to partner with Armcor to provide the solution.

The fresh air requirements were solved using 6 individual units with capacities up to 9550 l/sec.

The HTC unit supplied by Armcor is ideally suited to applications where both humidity and temperature control is essential. And the XEP unit combines the efficiency of heat exchange integrated with a packaged air-conditioning system to provide a total solution to temperature control for applications requiring full fresh air.
