Ventilating a State-of-the-Art Leisure Centre.

Redevelopment works for the East Keilor sports, aquatic and leisure centre have begun.

This includes a 50-metre heated outdoor pool, 25 metre indoor lap pool, Learn to swim pool, dedicated warm water program pool, spa, steam and sauna, indoor water playground for young children, café and seating area and a gym, group fitness and spin studios.
All this required some significant ventilation.

Armcor manufactured five units for the project. With two of these being very large and needing oversize transport, local manufacturing was great advantage.

The largest unit with 15,000l/sec airflow capacity, included polypropylene heat exchange media, EC fans, bag filters and hot water coils.

This is certainly an impressive project and the equipment although large, was well within the capacity of Armcor to relatively simply manufacture in the configuration to reduce on-site work.
