Expanding Bathurst Correctional Centre is a $110 million investment, part of the NSW Government’s $3.8 billion prison infrastructure plan.

The multi-stage project set for completion in mid-2020 has the regional community looking forward to more jobs in construction, and the ongoing economic advantages resulting from the investment.

With a 220-bed expansion, the project works also include the construction and installation of a new kitchen and laundry in Stage 1, followed by new education and administration buildings in Stage 2.
