The Hills Shire Council is pursuing a $48 million redevelopment of the Waves Aquatic Centre in Baulkham Hills that will see the current facility levelled, with the expansion project – including blueprints for new indoor and outdoor pools and a massive gym. The aquatic centre is now moving closer to completion and is scheduled to re-open in 2022.

Armcor were pleased to be a part of the community leisure and aquatic project along with the contractor Fredon Air Pty Ltd (NSW). This project came up with customised requirements of Armcor’s Energy Recovery XEC Chilled/Hot water Coil units. These units were required for the Roof top installation. Armcor manufactured and supplied the XEC2500P3 with – Chilled Water Coil and Hot Water Coil along with the Sensible Heat Recovery Media. The other two units – XEC1200P3 and XEC5000P3 were also slot into the production schedule. These two units were customised and made available with Hot water coil, EC Plug Fans, Polypropylene Heat Recovery Media along with the inbuilt Attenuators.

Armcor was not only able to accommodate the typical request of this project but also successfully delivered the units to the site in a timely manner as per the specified schedule of the construction.
