The $8.5million building refurbishment project included pool, gymnasium, and the café.
The scope of this refurbishment included the design, partial demolition, reconstruction, and fit out of the new Health Club. All facets of construction project management including staffing, programming, trade letting, trade supervision, cost control, OH&S and final certification were provided. This project was delivered on a fast-track open book method which saw the club designed, procured, and built within 8 months of commencement.
The beautifully gym on Sydney’s northern beaches, with a sparkling 25m swimming pool, needed an equipment for overcoming condensation and the corrosive nature of the chlorine laden air around the pool. Armcor had just the right unit to suffice this need that had risen from the world class Virgin Active Gym, located at Frenches forest.
The XES series provides packaged air conditioning and energy recovery for indoor swimming pool areas. Designed with the specific need to overcome condensation and the corrosive nature of the chlorine laden air, the XES unit includes EC Plug Fans, in-built filters and polypropylene plate heat exchange media. The cabinet and components are lined with a corrosion-resistant coating.
Along with the XES, Armcor also slot into its production schedule 4 of the compact multiflow energy recovery XCM units. The XCM series is a compact, horizontal low-profile ceiling mount heat recovery unit designed for installation within a roof space. The option of EC Plug Fans makes this Armcor’s star achiever in energy savings and controllability.
The R&D team at Armcor Air Solutions has radically redesigned their XCM range of ERVs, to bring to market not only the most versatile unit available but also an Australian Made leading product. Armcor continues to provide ‘Australian made’ fresh air solutions of every building.
