With continuing redevelopment, the hospital is upgrading the 10 year old air conditioning system and the specifications called for new Air Handling Units and Pre conditioning units varying from 900 – 2000 l/sec capacity
Armcor joined in the design challenge to create the required configurations with top and side discharge outlets, special weatherproof roofing (for the outdoor units) and the matching hot, reheat and multi stage chilled water coils.
Each unit was fitted with internal service lighting, a balancing bypass air plate, and large capacity stainless steel drain trays. The result was four bespoke units that matched the specifications, had the flexibility for easy installation with an on time delivery.
