With a focus on Innovation and Technology, Tas Botanics vision is to ‘Develop a world leading Research, Cultivation and Manufacturing pharmaceutical facility, utilising world’s best practice, to improve the health and wellbeing of society’.

Based in Tasmania, which has the world’s cleanest air and one of the world’s most pristine environments, Tas Botanics are committed to provide an evidence-based approach to the efficacy and safety of their products with an aim to produce the highest quality medicinal cannabis products under TGA GMP certification and environmental standards. The highly experienced team of scientists and pharmacists, with qualifications in a range of backgrounds, are supported by Tas Botanics collaborations with public research organisations, allowing them to increase their understanding of the science around medicinal cannabis.

ECS Botanics signed leases with farmers to expand its cultivation area from 2,500 square metres (sqm) to 320,000 sqm and consolidate its industry leading business model in Tasmania. The expansion is focused on areas outside the existing secure medicinal cannabis facility compound in Tasmania, which includes the remainder of the existing property plus additional leased irrigated properties nearby.

HVAC Supplies Pty Ltd are a distributer for Armcor Air Solutions equipment and solutions. They supplied Armcor’s DHP series for the ECS Botanics project. These Dehumidification PAC units are designed to provide an economical and practical solution for humidity control. These requirements were successfully fulfilled for the Stage 2 of the major expansion project of ECS Botanics, Tasmania. Armcor manufactured and delivered its DHP1200P3 with the capacity of 1200 l/sec and 25 Kw. The unit was supplied with the standard equipment configuration of sensible heat exchange media, EC plug fans, stainless steel drain tray and associated controls.
