The Hope Downs 4 (HD4) mine is an iron ore mine located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, 100 kilometres northwest of Newman. The mine is partly owned and operated by Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) and is one of twelve iron ore mines the company operates in the Pilbara.

Armcor worked with the WA based contractor to successfully provide equipments as per the specific needs of the Hope Downs 4 facility.

Armcor used their engineering and design expertise to provide a business solution by manufacturing and supplying Australian made XEM1200P3 units. With the standard capacity of 1200 l/sec the XEM units are our standard heat recovery ERV solution for rooftop, ground level or plant room applications. The EC Plug fans are standard on all models, providing variable speed control and optimal energy efficiency. Armcor manufactured 3 of the XEM1200P3 units with the option of Enthalpy sensible media.

These units were slotted into the productions timeline for manufacturing and delivering a hassle-free project.
