Construction has commenced on a flagship Mercure in the heart of Doncaster – the first-ever hotel built atop a two-level Bunnings Warehouse.

The builders won’t have far to go for supplies as this project sees the Mercure brand reach a milestone of 50 hotels in the Pacific region.

Mercure Doncaster, on track to open in late-2021, will be a 183-room property closely located to the area’s local Westfield shopping centre. Guest facilities will include a restaurant and bar with outdoor dining area, fitness centre, sundeck, rooftop swimming pool and function space.

Armcor is excited to manufacture a SwimPool fresh air packaged air-conditioning unit. Featuring corrosion resistant coatings, 27kW of heating and cooling capacity, stainless steel drain trays and a swimpool heat recovery media, this equipment is designed to recover 21kW of energy from the exhaust air to efficiently condition the incoming fresh air.
