Located in the heart of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Arcadia Pittwater will be a purpose built 85 bed hospital delivering exceptional sub-acute healthcare within a luxurious environment. Designed with a variety of in-hospital destinations such as a gym, library, cafe and lounge, Arcadia Pittwater will cater to a broad range patients, forming a key part of their recovery treatment plan.
The inclusion of a Hydrotherapy pool, open plan gymnasium and wellness centre is where the specialist services of Armcor Air Solutions became involved.
For the comfort of users and for energy efficiency, pool areas need special considerations. The solution to the Pittwater project is a packaged airconditioning unit with plate heat exchange energy recovery, coated internally to resist the corrosive atmospheric conditions.
With a restricted space requirement, the contractor required the equipment to be built in two sections and joined and commissioned on site.
Not a problem said the sales team – and the production and installation followed along to give the client exactly what they needed.
