Work has already begun on the new Gold Coast Disaster and Emergency Management Centre at Ashmore. This is a new dedicated facility for the city’s emergency services during times of natural disaster or emergency.
The hub at Ashmore, will function as a command centre for first responders in the critical times of emergency and has received a funding of $9.81 million from the Palaszczuk Government. This whole project aims at creating resilience amongst the growing community. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2022, weather permitting.
The Armcor team was approached by the Queensland based contractor- Effective Airconditioning Services for their dehumidification packaged units for the project.
The 2 suggested Dehumidification PAC Units- DHP1700P3 and DHP900P3 were the business solutions that were fully compliant with the specs of the project.
Armcor’s DHP series are packaged dehumidification units designed to provide an economical and practical solution for humidity control. Reduction in moisture content is achieved by a combination of a plate heat exchanger and a packaged air conditioning system. The standard equipment configuration includes EC plug fans, stainless steel drain tray, and associated controls. Both the units were manufactured and assembled with Enthalpy Heat Exchange Media.
These units were delivered hassle-free and on-time to meet the project requirements.
