Protecting Health Workers with Fresh Air.
The Beleura Private Hospital is increasing its capacity from 32 to 48 beds for the treatment of patients with mental health issues and alcohol addiction.
The demand for mental health and alcohol addiction services is on the increase with people coming from as far as South Australia and Queensland for treatment.
Beleura the only private mental health facility with alcohol addiction services in the Mornington region and has medical practitioners from other states referring their patients to its relapse prevention clinics.
Fresh Air in hospitals is not only mandated by the Building Code, but essential for the indoor air quality and the reduction of cross contamination of virus between patients and health care workers.
Armcor supplied a standard ERV unit to efficiently reclaim the energy that is exhausted as fresh air is introduced. This unit incorporated an Economy Cycle System to provide ‘free cooling’ when the ambient conditions allow.
Coupled with a low level controller, to give simplicity of operation options gets this unit up and going in the shortest of installation time.
