Since the beginning of 2020, the coronavirus COVID‐19, has spread rapidly and has had a far-reaching impact socially, environmentally and financially throughout Asia, Europe, the Americas and now Australia.
We take the opportunity to reassure our clientele that at this stage there is no significant impact on the production capabilities of Armcor Air Solutions.
We are focusing on a risk management plan that will ensure:
– the safety of our staff
– the continuity of business operations and systems
– uninterrupted component supply
– maintaining scheduled deliveries
Armcor is committed to remain calm, factual and up to date with information from official government and health authorities and provide timely advice as soon as possible regarding interruptions that could impact our customers.
Even though our equipment is manufactured in Australia, we do source components from international suppliers and we acknowledge that our supply chain will not be exempt from the toll this virus will take. Early indications from our international suppliers are that production has or is likely to be slowed, and that logistics, in particular, sea freight, will be affected.
Armcor is confident that we will be able to honour all current orders within the promised lead times, and we are very well placed for future orders. We also acknowledge that as a result of the unpredicted outlook, we anticipate some supply disruptions in the next 3‐6 months.
We would suggest you take the following into account when planning all future projects:
– the review of quotations and increased pricing due to supply availability
– anticipated lead times may need to be extended
