Improving performance in a healthy and cool environment

The Wodonga community connection with health and well-being is paramount; hence sports and recreation are essential to the community.

While the community grows, the demand for better and well-maintained infrastructure increases. With indoor facilities offering up to five courts, the Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre is a highly utilised complex, which requires an air-conditioning system that works at an optimal level.

The Wodonga Council needed to review the cooling function of two basketball stadiums at the leisure centre. The long-lasting product (AC) demand is high, and project consultants must work on specific requirements, making the product exclusive to the client.

Armcor has developed an innovative approach with the most economical use of INDEC cooling, with the introduction of Indirect Evaporative Cooling, responding to this specific market. The INDEC Indirect Evaporative Cooling range provides the market with increased options for pre-cooling fresh air. It also offers an efficient energy system, which reduces operational expenditure wherever indoor comfort and indoor air quality are combined.

Fresh and clean air is essential to everyone, especially for the indoor spaces where communities gather. The Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre and Armcor are working together to cater to the community’s well-being by providing a ‘Cleaned’ air policy.
