A recent upgrade to the entire airconditioning system of the Warrnambool Police will assist with better working conditions for the staff.
Warrnambool Station, was recently labelled as chronically underfunded and among the worst in the state with at least 20 officers short an officers taking more sick leave in the entire western region of the state due to the heavy workloads.
The project needed 13 new air handling units to replace the existing rooftop equipment. Rather than just settle for standard equipment the contractor thought ahead and ordered units that were specially made so that the ductwork connections would exactly match which will drastically reduce on site installation hours.
With this forethought Armcor was able to design the units to fit perfectly and include hot water. Chilled water coils, EC Plug fans, filters and provision for the fresh air intakes.
As usual, the rush was on and the turnaround time was limited – but Armcor pulled it all together within the needed timeframe for a successful installation.
