Its floor-to-ceiling shimmering golden glass facade will reach 65 residential levels, housing over 630 high quality homes in the sky, providing a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments at 111 a Beckett Street, Melbourne. Each apartment will evoke feelings of space and home upon entry, and feature a kitchen made of natural stone and perforated metal, with Miele appliances.
UNO Melbourne will now become one of the first high-rise residential development in Australia to implement 100% green power, ensuring the electricity used in residential apartments are 100% clean and renewable, sourced through sustainable initiatives.
Victorian contractor- Ellis Air Conditioning Pty Ltd approached Armcor for the design and supply of a pool packaged airconditioning unit as required for the project Uno Melbourne “homes in the sky”.
Designed with the specific need to overcome condensation and the corrosive nature of the chlorine laden air, the XES unit includes EC Plug Fans, in-built filters, and polypropylene plate heat exchange media. Armcor’s specifically designed XES series provides packaged air conditioning and energy recovery for indoor swimming pool areas.
Considering the project specification of the state-of-the-art building Armcor put forward their XES5000P3 unit for assembly and production. With the capacity of 5000 l/sec and nominal capacity of 96 Kw the cabinet and components were lined with a corrosion-resistant coating.
Once again, Armcor exceeded the customer expectations by delivering state-of-the-art, energy efficient solutions (equipment) that bring fresh air indoors.
