The Hedberg is an ambitious $96 million creative industries and performing arts development around the historic Theatre Royal in Hobart. This development will include world-class performance venues, a new home for the Conservatorium of Music, front and back of house support spaces, integration of the two-storey Hedberg Garage and improved amenity and accessibility to all levels of the Theatre Royal.

Public and performance venues require significant fresh air and to maximise efficiency, energy efficient heat recovery units were designed to fit the space.
Rotary Heat Wheels are renown as the most efficient energy recovery system.

The design settled on two Armcor RHW units incorporated three large 2750mm diameter wheels to maximise efficiency.
Along with seven other AHUs, all with filters, heating and chilled water coils and EC plug fans, the HVZC equipment for this project will undoubtably perform behind the scenes allowing the success of the frontline cultural and art performances.
