St. Peter’s College received the long-awaited news of a grant allocation to contribute to the building of a Performing Arts Centre at the Clyde North campus. The total cost of the performing arts centre will be in the vicinity of $ 7.5 million. It is anticipated that a 350-seat auditorium will be the focal point of this facility. Building will commence on this project within the next 12 months and will provide a state-of-the-art facility able to be accessed and utilised by both campuses. The project comprises the construction of a new Performing Arts Centre, together with associated civil and external works, building services and landscaping.
The Contractor approached Armcor for providing a total solution for Fresh Air for the Stage 6B project for the performing arts centre at St Peter’s College, Clyde North. Armcor worked with the contractor on the specifications of the project and provided a business solution by providing the XEP Packaged Airconditioning Units. Armcor put the XEP3500P3E, XEP4500P3E and XEP1200P3E into the production schedule.
The XEP Series combines the efficiency of heat exchange integrated with a packaged airconditioning system to provide a total solution to temperature control for applications that require substantial or full fresh air. These unit configuration suits external rooftop or ground level applications and includes energy-saving EC Plug Fans and were manufactured and supplied with the option of enthalpy exchange media to suit the requirements.
Armcor also manufactured & supplied a unit of the XCC400P1E to suit the requirements of the project. The exchange ceiling mount heat recovery unit was supplied with a capacity of 400l/sec and a compressor capacity of 9kw with the standard inclusion of Enthalpy Heat exchange media.
The Stage 6B, St Peter’s College, Clyde North project was successfully fulfilled as per the project requirements and delivered as per the contractors’ timelines.
