St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital, established within the leafy eastern quarter of Queensland city, recently benefited from a huge government investment, allowing provision for its own state-of-the-art clinical facilities.
The project called for the staged removal of existing plant, equipment, internal structures, and fittings to provide an empty shell, then the subsequent installation of new services to create a sophisticated, fully compliant medical operating theatres and support infrastructure.
Armcor was appointed by the contractor to supply a specialised mechanical air conditioning and ventilation solution to the facility’s theatres and surrounding zones.
The selected product was Armcor’s XEC series unit. The unit combines ERV with an inbuilt chilled water and/or hot water coils to condition the air following the heat recovery process. The outcome from this installation was an energy-efficient, fully compliant theatre upgrade.
Armcor promises and delivers on high-standard projects, meeting client’s expectations and timeframe requirements.
