St Andrew’s Catholic College in Cairns are constructing a new 650 Seat Performing Arts Theatre.
With a requirement for significant fresh air to match the people load, and taking into consideration the specific northern Queensland climatic conditions, the consultants opted for two packaged units incorporating energy recovery.
Both units needed to be linked to the one controller. Armcor proposed an integrated system activated from a local interface controller with CO2 sensors providing variable control of the cooling load. The school can be fully confident that the equipment will economically provide the quality conditioned air to keep the performers and the audience comfortable.
