Maximising air quality at the new brewery in the west
Sou’West Brewery is the latest destination for beer enthusiasts in Torquay. The new brewer opened its doors in late March 2021.
During the renovation stage at the facility’s café and sets of offices, Armcor was approached to provide the energy recovery equipment.
To maximise air quality in all these areas, project contractor Mechtrol chose to install two Energy Recovery External Mount units to supply controlled conditioned fresh air to the building.
Each unit utilises the Xchange plate heat exchanger to recover the energy from the exhaust air and transfer it to the incoming fresh air, resulting in significant energy savings. The XEM Series is particularly suited to an optional economy bypass system.
Armcor was able to match the project requirement and budget as well as supply the equipment in the required timeframe.
