The Client
Skyone Apartments is set to change the skyline in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Box Hill’s soon-to-be tallest tower will be supported by 7 basement levels accommodating 325 car spaces. The emergence of the jump form is a noteworthy construction marker in the project’s 32 month designated construction time frame stretching through to September 2019. Upon completion Sky One will rise 36 storeys and house 438 apartments above 3 levels of retail and dining.

The Client’s Challenge
The apartment block contains all the essential features and residents will have exclusive access to level three where there’s abundant amenities ready to be discovered including the Gymnasium, Swimming Pool, and Day Spa. Swimming Pool areas in these apartments need special consideration with the fresh air requirements, the chlorine laden air, the removal of condensation so as to provide excellent patron experience.

The Armcor Solution
An Armcor XES30P3 was selected for this prestige project providing pool package unit 3000 l/sec airflow and 68kW heating/cooling capacity. The controls will be integrated with the BMS to provide the efficient, effective solution to control the indoor environment of the pool area.
