Silos Hotel Complex, Tasmania
Armcor supplied three packaged air-conditioning energy recovery ventilator (ERV) units to service the iconic hotel’s function centre.
he controlled indoor environment incorporates a fresh air provision utilizing an Armcor ERV fitted with a Hot water coil to maintain optimum indoor design conditions. The configuration required a top discharge unit and Armcor was easily able to adapt the standard design to provide equipment specific for the purpose.
Located in Melbourne’s Southbank, the project comprises a 319-metre luxury apartment tower designed by Fender Katsalidis Architects and featuring 1,105 landmark apartments across 100 levels. The building will also feature three levels of world-class residential amenity, including two infinity pools located 210 metres above ground.
Metronode Data Centre
Data centres have specific cooling requirements, but the introduction of fresh air is also essential for occupancy and maintenance personnel and this requires the fresh air treatment. The Metronode Data Centre had the requirement for two roof mounted DX ERV units that could supply 1200 and 1500 l/sec of fresh air. The equipment contained digital compressors and electronic expansion valves to optimise efficiency.
Jindalee Veterinary Clinic
The selected unit was suited to the rooftop installation with a cooling capacity of 27kW and particular attention given to operation where ambient temperatures could exceed 45degC
