Dehumidification essential for Queensland’s new ‘Orion on Rowe’

“Orion on Rowe” is a nine-stage development that includes a four-storey building for offices, shop, and food/drink outlets; four-storey, 14-unit disability accommodation; 23 three-storey townhouses; five-storey, 100-bed residential aged care facility, and a seven-storey retirement facility with 93 units.

It proudly offers Boutique, independent living in the heart of Caboolture.

For the office building, the mechanical specification called for equipment with 4400l/sec of airflow, 133 kW of cooling, and a remote condenser.

Working with the consultants, Armcor proposed an Australian Made bespoke unit that has 3 stage cooling with inverter compressors, polypropylene heat-exchange media, deep bed filters, and an integrated HLI.

With a project value over $100K for this single unit, we rolled through production at the end of 2020 and delivered to the site for a successful install and commissioning.
