Lactalis is an Australian dairy company producing dairy products with a long and proud history, a history that commenced with the opening of the Pauls milk factory on the banks of the Brisbane River back in the 1930s. Lactalis continues to invest and expand in Australia, setting the benchmark for the dairy industry locally and playing an ever-increasing role in the export of dairy products into Asia.
Armcor was approached by the Victorian contractor for the manufacture and supply of the Air Handling Unit (AHU) for a recent upgrade at Lactalis Longwarry.
This upgrade was fulfilled by fitting the unit AHU5000P3 into the production schedule. The 5000l/sec capacity unit was fitted with the cooling chilled water coils having a total capacity of 122.5kW with the HEPA filters and Frames.
The AHU series of air handling units are designed to distribute conditioned air to specific building areas in combination with an external energy source from a hot water boiler, chiller or DX system. The air handling unit configuration suits rooftop or plant room applications and include EC plug fans.
This project was seamlessly manufactured and delivered on-time with the specific project requirements.
