Industry Lanes is a best-practice workplace and mixed-use, A-Grade precinct. The site echoes urban Richmond with three buildings stitched together by a common plane – the campus – featuring a mix of large and small in-between spaces including retail, communal amenities, open air courtyards and shared work zones.
Industry Lanes had been designed with the needs and desires of employees top of mind. It has been awarded a 5 Star Green Star – Design & As Built v1.2 Review Rating, which represents Australian Excellence in sustainable design. Industry Lanes doors are expected to be open later this year.
It’s an exciting stage of development, as the building’s final structure is now coming together. Soon the façade will be finalised, the buildings will be made watertight, and the tower cranes will come down. And then the final fit out and finishes to complete this innovative precinct’s three buildings and common areas, which include a mix of retail spaces, communal facilities, open-air courtyards, shared work zones and eateries.
Armcor has been excited to be a part of this futuristic world-class commercial precinct. The site has a net lettable area of 18,000sqm, which includes 1,346sqm for retailers, 490sqm end of trip facilities, plus 160 carpark spaces, all targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating.
For the fit out of the Industry Lane Armcor were pleased to provide two of its energy recovery XEC chilled and hot water coil units. The XEC series combines ERV with an inbuilt chilled water and/or hot water coils to condition the air following the heat recovery process.
