ARMCOR SUPPORTING THE AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICABLE DISEASES HEALTH SYSTEM.

The ACT Health Protection Services is responsible for public health protection in the ACT, including minimising the impact of communicable diseases, developing immunisation policies and investigating health complaints relating to public premises such as restaurants, swimming pools, boarding houses and skin penetration facilities.

The service comprises the ACT Government Analytical Laboratory, Communicable Diseases Control, Immunisation, Pharmaceutical Services, Radiation Safety and Environmental Health.

Armcor has been associated with the air-conditioning upgrades at this facility and recently supplied the second stage of Indirect Evaporative cooling units.

The INDEC range of cooling equipment, provides the unique opportunity for full fresh air cooling that is very economical to operate and does not add moisture to supply air.

This is the ideal for laboratories such as the Holder Health facility that cannot operate with recirculated air.

With the increased awareness of communicable diseases such as COVID-19, the world is becoming more aware of the need for fresh air and the reduction of recirculation in air conditioning systems.

INDEC offers a fresh approach to economical fresh air cooling.
