The 16 Storey- GPO Marriott hotel, is an AUD$200 million development which is scheduled for completion in late 2023. The construction is now underway to convert Adelaide’s former General Post Office building into a new luxury hotel, which will be operated by Marriott International.

The GPO Marriott hotel, in the heart of the Adelaide CBD will mark Marriott’s debut into South Australia will become a key driver in the tourism industry.

A Presidential Suite will be among the hotel’s 285 rooms, with guest facilities and will include four restaurants and bars, five conference and function spaces, a Club Lounge, swimming pool and fitness centre. Guests will be able to enjoy views of the Adelaide Hills, the city and coastline from various vantage points across the property.

Armcor in collaboration with Climat Commercial Pty Ltd. supplied 2 of the XEC Chilled and Hot water coil energy recovery units. These units were delivered with a standard capacity of 7000 l/sec with energy saving EC Plug Fans and sensible plate heat exchange media. The unit configuration suits external rooftop or plant room applications.
