As the largest private hospital on the Central Coast, Gosford Private boasts of: 9 modern operating theatres, 14 critical care beds, 3 private birthing suites, A dedicated Day Surgery Unit, State-of-the-art Endoscopy Centre, Gosford Heart Centre, On-site rehabilitation.

Armcor Air Solutions have been proud to be associated with the $32 million re-development project at Gosford Private Hospital which is now expected to be near complete. This project includes Day Surgery, Reception, Recovery, Meeting Rooms and Maternity Ward.

In an operating theatre, dry air increases the rate of evaporation from tissues, thereby exacerbating problems of dehydration. Low humidity can also result in static and the risk of ignition of medical gases and reliability of electronic medical equipment. Hence there is a very significant need to have moisture reduction and humidity control at these places. Armcor had just the right solution for Dehumidification of the operating theatres at the Gosford Private Hospital.

The contractor approached Armcor for their DHP series which are packaged dehumidification units designed to provide an economical and practical solution for humidity control. The DHP1200P3 was chosen for one of the operating theatres at the Hospital. With a capacity of 1200 l/sec and a cooling capacity of 62Kw and standard inclusions of EC plug fans, sensible heat-exchange media, stainless steel drain tray, and associated controls, the unit was assembled and delivered.
