The Essendon Football Club, the “Bombers”, is a professional AFL club based in the northern Melbourne is undergoing Redevelopment Works with the total project cost of $21 million. The redevelopment site is located within the existing EFC training facility. The works include, but are not limited to the construction of meeting rooms and community gathering spaces, girls and women’s football development facilities, including unisex change rooms, multipurpose recreation and training areas, health and nutrition facilities, dormitory style, fully accessible accommodation, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and multicultural program and next generation academy facilities, location for the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sports Hall of Fame.
For the Level 3 Fit out of the Essendon Football Club Hall of Fame, HVAC Commercial Pty Ltd turned to Armcor to manufacture and provide its state-of-the-art, energy efficient solutions. Armcor was pleased to provide its Humidity and Temperature Control – HTC Series and three units of the XCM Compact Multiflow ERV for the full scope fit-out of the redevelopment work at the Essendon Football Club.
One unit of the XCM800P3S and two units of the XCM1000P3S with ceiling mounted heat recovery where assembled. These units were provided with sensible heat exchange media along with the option of EC plug fan which makes it the star achiever in energy savings and controllability.
Apart from the above, HTC2000P3 with the capacity of 2000 l/sec and cooling capacity of 68kW was slotted into the production line along with one unit of the Precise Comfort Control PCC-30C, which is the High-Level Controller for XEP/XES/HTC/DHP Packaged Air Conditioning Units.
