The Byford Secondary College development includes a striking two-storey building comprising 4,200m2 of floor space, complete with general purpose, flexible and incidental learning areas, business studies and IT laboratories, a lecture theatre, staff common room, collegiate areas and amenities, student services, ancillary areas and toilet accommodation. Set for completion in time for the commencement of the 2018 school year, the project will deliver Byford Secondary College an outstanding facility aimed at upholding the original vision to “create a vibrant and successful secondary school in the heart of Byford”.

Armcor Air Solutions provided the roof mounted PAC with heat recovery for the lecture theatre. With a heating and cooling capacity of 24 kw this compact rooftop unit was fitted with fresh air bypass dampers and will provide the college with the optimum in efficiency through the utilisation of both heat recovery and an economy system.
