Blacktown Aquatic Centre is Western Sydney’s main competition pool hosting over 50 swimming meets each year. Kieran Perkins broke the 800 m Freestyle World Record at Blacktown Aquatic Centre in 1992.

Blacktown Aquatic Centre, Boyd Street, Blacktown underwent a refurbishment to expand its services.

The NSW based contractor approached Australian Made – Armcor Air Solutions for its standard heat recovery ERV unit for the refurbishment of the Blacktown Aquatic Centre.

Armcor’s XEM series is a standard heat recovery ERV solution for rooftop, ground level or plant room applications.
With a standard capacity of 3000 l/sec and the option of Polypropylene heat exchange media the XEM3000P3 was slotted into the production schedule.
These units utilize the Xchange plate heat exchanger to recover the energy from the exhaust air and transfer it to the incoming fresh air, resulting in significant energy savings. The EC Plug fans are standard on all models, providing variable speed control and optimal energy efficiency.

Two units of the XEM3000P3 were swiftly slotted into the production schedule. Armcor was pleased to deliver the units on time at the site as per the specifications of the job.
