From tomato sauce to butter and milk
Australian Consolidated Milk have built their new Girgarre facility at the old Heinz tomato sauce factory site.
The processing plant, valued at $80 million, will greatly enhance the rural area, alongside expanding dairy exports to the tune of $15 million per year.
The factory will produce milk powders, butter and cream from both organic and conventional milk for domestic and export markets.
Specialist areas within the new Australian Consolidated Milk development in Girgarre facility required individually designed AHUs.
Dryer areas, wet processing, filler butter and the transformer areas all had requirements with stainless steel finned coils, aluminum fin coils or no cooling coils were all part of the requirements.
Armcor provided the five AHUs and being local in Victoria were able to work directly with the contractor to supply on budget, on design, and on time.
