The mechanical consultants discussed the needs of the project which comprised of a new Air Handling Unit to provide heating & ventilation of the existing 25m pool. The unit needed to be fitted with the economy cycle operation and was expected to have automatic controls and electrical insulation.
After looking through the needs and special project requirement for the Aqua Energy Leisure Centre Redevelopment, Armcor selected the REM Rotary Heat Wheel- REC10000P3 ERV unit with Economy Cycle.
The REM series is the ultimate in High Efficiency Heat Recovery utilizing a rotary heat exchanger to recover the energy from the exhaust air and transfer it to the incoming fresh air. With efficiencies up to 87%, this unit configuration suits external rooftop and includes energy saving EC Plug Fans, in-built bag filters and supplied with the selection of rotary heat wheels with polypropylene media. The unit was supplied with a standard capacity of 10000 l/s, and the hot water coils and Propylene Media.
Armcor successfully delivered another “Custom Made”, “Manufactured in Australia” project on time.
