Position Vacant – Sales & Business Development

We exclusively manufacture in Australia and are looking to expand our national sales team.

Role Description
• Manage existing customer relationships to achieve sales targets
• Develop new customer contacts and identify opportunities to generate additional sales
• Provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and product knowledge
• Develop and maintain specialist product knowledge
• Travel (including interstate) as required

Specific Responsibilities
• Maintain a state office presence
• Prepare sales forecasts and report on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
• Prospecting including consultant and contractor visits
• Overview tender documents and liaise with the estimating team
• Checking quotations, submissions and technical documentation
• Provide customer service and technical product solutions
• Follow up communications to close the sale

The Candidate
• Knowledge and experience of the Airconditioning industry is strongly preferred
• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) OR extensive trade background
• Minimum of 5 years proven technical sales experience in acquiring new business and maintaining relationships
• Analytical, resourceful, self-motivated, energetic and persistent
• High level interpersonal and telephone communication skills
• Target driven team player with attention to detail
• Ability to get through to the decision maker
• Experience in Microsoft Office and CRM database use
